COLUMN
The basic design of KRP Machines is built round a double column is rigidly cross braced and designed to ensure maximum rigidly of arm at all heights. The cylindrical outer sleeve of grade Cast iron is located on the internal column rotating at the top on radial and axial moving on hardened tracks.
ARM ELEVATING GEAR BOX
A Special electric motor provided for raising & lowering of drilling head arm. A specially designed Gear box fixed on top of the column. The gears are designed & manufacturing so as to endure lifting load with very smoothly.
GEAR BOX
A totally oil lubricated gear box provided on drilling head. All major important gear changing Levers are fixed on front of the gear box as well as operator. All gears are cuts on special gear Shaping machine. A special designed clutches are fixed in gear box for easy disengagement & Engagement. The gears are designed & manufactured so as to endure powerful drilling, so they can withstand power transmission and rotate smoothly.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENTS
The electrical panel board is located on the rear of arm and contains all contractors, relays
Overloads etc. All operating switches and levers are mounted on the head. This entralized
Grouping of all controls within easy reach makes the machine particularly attractive from the Operators stand point.
DRILLING HEAD
For operating head, a front concentrated operation system is employed from the stand point of the operator, so that work is facilitated and arrangement is effective. A wide range of speeds Includes 8 spindles speeds and 3 feeds rates, so that it can be applied to any kind of work. All drive and feed gearing is enclosed in the head casting from the primary drive from the Motor to the main drive gears and spindle in the lower part of the head. The head slides on bearing surface of arm and is hand operated through rack & pinion. The main motor is of sufficient Power on each model adequately to cover the drilling speeds shown on the machine data plate.
